Thinking about Change?

So I was laying here in bed tonight and a lot of things are on my mind about this word change. Change? It's not always good, but is rarely ever bad. My best friend since we were in 7th grade is gettin married in November. Man, I can remember when boys had cooties and riding bikes were so much fun. We have had our fair share of fights, but we always come out still best friends. My other friend is fixing to have a baby in a couple months. Man, I still remember our sleepovers. All three of us were together almost every weekend. I have been thru a lot in life and I know everyone says that, but my life changed when I moved here four yrs ago. I started my Junior year here in a huge school and was sacred to death. I mean this school was as big as my hometown. I learned to love it. Then I graduated and started in the real world. It meant a few heart breaks, many tears, and many new friends. Some I would keep and some who didn't deserve to be in my life. I have lived with a man I thought I loved with all my heart and he turned out to be a toad instead of my prince. I know I'm young, but some people learn things at an early age. I have met a man that I can see myself spending the rest of my life with, but for once he is the one planning for the future and I'm just along for the ride. I never once thought I would fall in love with a man in the military, but they say you fall in love with someone who reminds you of your hero. My hero happend to be my older brother who is a Marine and who fights for what he loves and believes in. I have changed so much since I moved here. I love who I have became thru the years. I have my mother to thank for the way I have turned out. She is a single mother of two and has done everythign she can for us. I understand she has had to give up so much for us, but she did it because she wanted not because she had to. That's what mothers do. Just another rant thanks guys :)

Supportin the Troops

Toinght I was reading a friends blog and one of them really caught my attention.. Ignorance? In this blog she talks about how people don't support our troops and it made me think. People think that most people who support our troops are kin to them, or are some military loving freaks. Boy, are they wrong. The people who support our troops know what these men and women have to give up in order to give you the freedom to talk bad them. Yes, these troops fight for even the ones who talk bad about them and protest at military funerals. They do it so you have the right to do and say the things you do. I understand that yes they do kill people, but honestly think about it would you rather be fighting over there or in your own backyards? Think about how this war even started. They killed our people first and yes I know two wrongs don't make a right. These people would gives their lives for you so that you can lay in bed at night and pray for all the people they have killed, but not pray for the ones who sacrafices everything they have and love for you. I know that coming from a Marine sister it seems like I'm trying to push my beliefs down your throat, but it's not that way. I'm standing up for the men and women who stand up for you every day :) Thank you to everyone who supports these men and women not matter what branch they all fight for our freedom and they need your love and support not your hate and critisim! :)

The Beginning :)

Well this is my first blog ever. I don't really know where to start. I am a very honest and blunt person. I have very few friends, but the ones I do have are amazing.
My life has been changing so much in the past few months. I have recently enrolled for RN school. My new boyfriend is very amazing. He is also a true country gentlemen, opens doors, won't let me pay for anything, sweet, and very happy to be with me which is something I'm not used to at all. Most of my friends live in different states and some different countries. You could say I get along with all different types of people, religions, and cultures. I'm not the type of person to judge someone by what I hear about them, how they dress, or even the money they have. "Never Judge a Book by it's cover". One of my good friends Melissa convinced me to start a blog so this one is for you Melissa tell me what you think? :)
